The Bradley Women's Fastpitch Club Softball team was started by student Susan Butzen in the spring of 2002.  She was looking for other college girls who played softball in high school or travel, but did not want to commit to intensely competitive college sports.  The club team is an opportunity to play softball at a level less time consuming than Division I teams, but more competitive than intramural sports.  The team is slowly growing into an established Bradley organization.  We play in the fall and the spring against junior colleges, other club teams, junior varsity teams, or Division III teams.  During our seasons, we hold practices five days a week and usually travel 1-2 hours to games on the weekends.  We are a self-coached team, and while winning is ideal, our goal is to have fun.
