Minutes

Call To Order:

The meeting was called to order at 9:36pm by the Captain, Paul Mulka.

Attendance was taken. In attendance were:

There were 12 attendees, 2 of which were guests.

The minutes from the previous meeting were summarized and approved as corrected.

Movie Committee:

This week's movie will be a surprise at 3:30pm on Saturday in the Heitz TV lounge. (Arrive early so that you can get in the Heitz main doors and stairway door. Go downstairs. Take a right at the pool table. There you'll find the TV Room.)

Recruitment and Relations Committee:

The club TLC at Yeshiva University (New York) has been admitted into the Psi Phi Federation as Sector 002!
Two Amendments to the Federation Charter were ratified:
1. In the Application Process, the Application Form must be agreed to by the Applicant's current officers but need not be signed.
2. In the event of a Universal Assembly vote resulting in a tie, the Universal Vice President shall cast the deciding vote.
Elections for our Universal Assembly Representative must fall between October 1 and October 15, inclusive. The UA will then chose the High Council.

Chief of Operations:

DS9 moved to Monday night at 9:00pm (without notice); it is unconfirmed as to how permanent this change is.

Grand Nagus:

Four more dues have been paid, bringing the balance to $60.50.
Two more have arranged to pay (but haven't signed the Log).
David is owed $18.10 plus some as-of-yet undetermined amount, which he will try to determine.

The key list has been updated: all officers can now check out office keys.
The key-request form is in: the Captain and First Officer can pick up their keys Friday.
An away-mission to visit the Sisson office was suggested.

Bob: Are we going to print up another batch of T-Shirts for the new people? (The shop should keep the silk screen for a year or more past the last printing.) They might cost more (due to no treasury support of the purchase), but it's a possibility.
David: Sliders will premiere on September 20 at 7:00pm.
Seth suggested getting the Fall Preview TV Guide. He also mentioned that there will be a Wing Commander cartoon, featuring the voices of Mark Hamill and others.
David requests your input on some DS9 guide-page format testing: get to it via the DS9 Archive - "What's New to the Archive" - September 11 entry.
