Call To Order:
The meeting was called to order at 9:36pm by the Captain, Paul Mulka.
Attendance:
Attendance was taken. In attendance were:

There were 10 human attendees and one cat.
Minutes:
The minutes from the previous meeting were
summarized and approved.
Committee Reports:
Movie Committee:
- Justin: We will be watching The
Wizard of Speed and Time in Neumiller Lecture Hall this weekend.
- Last week, we watched The Hidden,
which Justin did not pick. Peter was actually at the movie.
- E-mail suggestions to Justin <schlumpf@rhf>.
- Plug by Erinn: Come to the movie--Saturday, 3:30pm.
Recruitment and Relations Committee:
- Erinn: Still looking for Monica's address.
- David called and said "Hi".
Universal Assembly Representative Report:
- No word yet about any Sector being able to get us B5.
Officer's Reports:
Chief of Operations:
- Proxy through Seth: Updates on DS9 and
Voyager pages will be less frequent now.
- Peter is now updating the "upcoming events" section on the
main page.
Grand Nagus:
- $55.40, with $2 owed to various peoples.
Communications Officer:
- Robert Ray (Alumni Member) can get us Babylon 5 tapes--the
first new episode is on its way. Shipping is about $3, but he'll
also want some reimbursement for the tape. After discussion, the
sentiment was that we as a club didn't want to pay for all separate
tapes.
[Ward Arrives]
First Officer:
- Apologized for not bringing his folder.
- The sign is now on the office door.
Captain:
- Saturday morning: there's a mini-activities fair for high school
students (10:30-11:45am). Some agreed to represent us there.
Old Business:
- First Contact viewing: we'll go, don't worry. E-mail Justin
<schlumpf@rhf>
if you want a ticket.
- Video: we should do it. There will be a video task-force subset
of the movie committee.
New Business:
- Justin suggested a Braveheart
showing, ala the Princess
Bride showing last year. There is some debate
as to whether or not the movie fits within Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Speculative
Fiction.
- David's New Business, proxy via Seth:
- Chase
Masterson (Leeta on DS9) will guest
star on Sliders.
- David will try to make it to First Contact with us,
but no guarantees.
