Committee Reports:
Movie Committee:
- 2001: A Space Odyssey was shown last week.
- Ward will oick the next movie.
Postings Committee:
- Disbanded after last week's success.
T-shirt Committee:
- Send any ideas to the Psi Phi list or Amy and Julie. Possible slogans:
- "Normalcy is for wimps"
- "42 (it's a scifi thing - you wouldn't get it)"
- Some other idea that only Amy remembers.
Card Game Committee (another new one):
- There are many scifi card game releases out currently:
- Star Trek: Rules of Acquisition and the Second Anthology Box
- Star Wars: Enhanced Cloud City
- Babylon 5: Psy Corps, Severed Dreams (on the way)
- Young Jedi: the Jedi Council
- If enough people like it, this committee can continue to exist.

- The book database at www.psiphi.org will be expanded - databases for Star Trek games and videos will be added.
Grand Nagus:
- The current balance is $183.36.
- $78.10 was added from Amazon.com, leaving us with 261.46.
- A motion was raised, but it was voted against so strongly that it was stricken from the minutes.

Scifi News:
- New Star Trek comics from Wildstorms are starting in 2 weeks - there will be one-shots and miniseries, and maybe some New Frontier material.
- JMS's "Rising Stars" comic #3 will be out soon.
- Part of Pocketbooks' 2001 schedule is out, and it includes a Section 31 crossover, some what-if novellas, the Battle of Betazed, and a new DS9 series.
- Pokemon the First Movie is out this week.
- News on a new Star Trek series: It will not be New Frontier, a Birth of the Federation series, or X-files-ish Section 31 series. It will be out in January or September 2001.
- News on the Star Trek IMAX movie: It seems to be on the back burner for business reasons.
Miscellaneous:
- After the meeting we all went to the closest campus phone and called up Aaron Balder, the winner of our Episode I Grand Prize: a set of stills from the movie. He had to be reminded of who we were and what raffle he had entered, but it all worked out in the end.
