Chuch Stoner

Dr. Chuck Stoner is the Robert A. McCord Professor of Executive Management Development and Professor of Management at Bradley University. A dynamic and engaging speaker and facilitator, Chuck works with a variety of businesses and organizations throughout the country, specializing in leadership, interpersonal dynamics, and organizational change. He has authored eight books and over 50 refereed articles and papers. His most recent books, A Life in Balance: Finding Meaning in a Chaotic World and The Adversity Challenge: How Successful Leaders Bounce Back from Setbacks are currently in bookstores.

Paul Wayvon

Paul W. Wayvon is an Instructor of Accounting at Bradley University.  He received his Masters of Business Administration from Michigan State University and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Detroit.  Mr. Wayvon is a Chartered Accountant (Canada). 

At Bradley, he teaches a variety of Financial and Managerial Accounting courses at the undergraduate level, as well as the Controllership course in Bradley’s MBA program and two topics-based Accounting modules in Bradley’s EMBA program.  Prior to joining the faculty at Bradley, Mr. Wayvon held a number of management and executive positions in the areas of accounting, finance, M&A and operations including CFO and COO positions over a period of 25 years. 

He spent most of his career with an international consumer products company that allowed him the opportunity to spend a considerable amount of his professional career in Europe and Asia.  He began his career in public accounting with Price Waterhouse.  He continues to be actively involved with a variety of companies in the areas of:  business valuation related to acquisitions and divestitures, strategic and operational improvement initiatives, start-ups and business development. 

Donna Hill

Dr. Donna Hill joined the Marketing Department at Bradley University in the summer of 1989. Before beginning her doctoral work, Donna was an instructor of Marketing at Ball State University. Currently Donna teaches Services Marketing, Marketing Research, Retail Management and Professional Services Marketing. Her principal research area is in consumer perception and use of information as it relates to consumer behavior, especially services marketing and customer satisfaction and complaining behavior. Other areas of interest include electronic marketing and the role of the marketing function within a firm.

Her research has appeared in the Journal of Retailing, Journal of Service Research, Journal of Services Marketing, Journal of Consumer Policy, The Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, The Journal of Applied Business Research, Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Ambulatory Care Marketing, Journal of Midwest Marketing, Journal of Consumer Satisfaction, Dissatisfaction and Complaining Behavior and Advances in Consumer Research, as well as the proceedings of numerous other marketing conferences. Donna is an active reviewer and received the 1992 and 1993 Outstanding Reviewer Award from the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. Dr. Hill's research has earned her the 1994 Foster College of Business Administration National Council of Advisors Research Award. 

Donna brought a great deal of experience in the non-profit and services marketing arena with her to academia. This experience included employment with the Division of Public Health in Indianapolis, Indiana as well as a Project Director responsible for developing and implementing community programs serving senior citizens in Southern Indiana. Donna is a co-presenter of several professional development seminars on services marketing, customer satisfaction and measurement as well as Internet & Social Media Marketing. Dr. Hill has also been a consultant to local small businesses and not-for-profit organizations.

Jake Heuser

Jake is the Senior Director of Development for Bradley University and the Campaign for a Bradley Renaissance. Prior to coming to Bradley, he worked in Planned Giving with Saint Louis University and as a fundraising consultant for the Gabriel Group. Jake assisted in direct mail campaigns in annual and planned giving for clients including the Salvation Army and the Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation. During his career, Jake has secured gifts as high as 7 figures and had clients experience over a 10% increase in their annual fundraising.

Ross Fink

Dr. Ross L. Fink is Professor of Operations Management at Bradley University.  He received his Ph.D. in Management Science from The University of Alabama in 1989.  Dr. Fink has taught Operations Management at Bradley University since the fall of 1991. 

His research interests are diverse including quality management, capturing cost of quality, service operations, process improvement, and the impact of technology on processes.  He received the Foster College of Business Administration’s research award for 1996 and 2004, and the Caterpillar New Faculty Achievement Award for Scholarship at Bradley University for 1996.

A frequent contributor to the management literature, Dr. Fink has over 100 publications that have appeared in a variety of journals including Decision Sciences, Journal of Cost Management, Journal of Technology Transfer, Management Accounting, Strategic Finance, Internal Auditing, Industrial Engineer, The Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance, Industrial Management, Hospital and Heath Services Administration, Labor Law Journal, and Production Planning and Control.

Mark Brown

Mark P. Brown is an Associate Professor of Management at Bradley University. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration, his MBA from Louisiana State University, and his BA in economics from The University of the South.

At Bradley Mark teaches classes in the areas of leadership, compensation, and human resource management. His research interests include strategic compensation issues, the performance effects of human resource practices in hospitals, and health care management. Mark’s research has appeared in publications including Health Care Management Review, Advances in Health Care Management, and the Academy of Management Journal.

Prior to entering academia Mark trained as a hospital administrator at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mark is currently on the board of trustees of Children’s Home of Central Illinois. Recently, Mark chaired Bradley University’s United Way employee campaign. Mark has also participated as a representative of Bradley University on the Peoria NEXT strategic planning committee.

Larry Weinzimmer

Dr. Weinzimmer is a Professor of Strategic Management in the Foster College of Business Administration (FCBA), Bradley University. He teaches the capstone strategic planning course to both undergraduates and MBAs. Additionally, Dr. Weinzimmer teaches strategic management tactics in executive development programs and regularly addresses audiences across the nation and abroad. He has received numerous teaching awards, the University’s most prestigious honor, the Putnam Award, the professor of the year award, and numerous national research awards.

Author, consultant and award-winning researcher, Laurence G. Weinzimmer is internationally recognized for his expertise in strategic planning. He consults with numerous Fortune 500 companies, including General Motors Corp., Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., 3M, Caterpillar Inc., Pennzoil Co., Ashland Chemical, Timken Steel, Coors Brewing Co. and many medium-sized companies on issues relating to strategy and growth. Dr. Weinzimmer has published three books and over 40 articles on business growth, has recently served as a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Management, and currently serves as the Associate Editor for the Journal of Small Business Strategy.

His most recent book, Fast Growth: How to Attain It, How to Sustain It, has received international acclaim, appearing on both the Amazon.com “Best Sellers List” and the Barnes and Noble “Best Sellers List.”
