Dr. Patty Hatfield

Patty Hatfield is Professor of Finance in the Foster College of Business Administration (FCBA), Bradley University. There she teaches corporate, entrepreneurial and personal finance courses at the graduate and undergraduate level. Patty is heavily involved in executive education. She regularly conducts financial training courses for Caterpillar managers. She has also worked with management at State Farm and Komatsu. In addition she has worked with management in a number of regional firms such as OSF, Methodist, Fleming Potter, RLI Insurance, Keystone Manufacturing, Morton Metalcraft, among others. Patty has conducted financial training courses in Russia and Singapore. Patty’s consulting work has most recently involved conducting small firm valuations, writing CFA study materials and conducting CFA study seminars for Schweser in New York, LA and Chicago. Her most recent publications have been in the area of corporate investment analysis and she has published research in the areas of corporate restructuring, valuation and dividend theory. Patty received both her MBA (1985) and Ph.D. (1991) from the University of Kentucky.
