Men’s basketball coach Jim Les ‘86 shakes hands with Joe Stowell ‘50 MA ‘56 at Stowell’s 80th birthday party held on campus June 3. About 45 former players and managers returned to campus for an alumni game at Robertson Memorial Field House and a roast to celebrate the former player, coach, assistant athletic director, and current radio analyst. The event, which drew about 500 people, raised $25,000 for the Joe Stowell Endowed Scholarship.
