The Third Twin
Ken Follett
As she begins her first research project on twins and the genetic
components of aggression, Jeannie Ferrari cannot believe what she is
finding: usinger a restricted FBI database, she has found a pair of
"twins" with the same exact genetic makeup, separated since
birth. Hospital records, however, indicate that they were born several
weeks apart and to very different mothers. One is a convicted murderer
and would be the perfect addition to her study on genetically determined
aggression. And the other, much to her concern, appears to be the man of
her romantic dreams. As she delves into their pasts, she suddenly finds
herself being played by the most powerful sources in America. Someone or
something wants her stopped.
