Robin Crusoe is back in town, set to film a movie based on a prior investigation. Roe Teagarden's disturbed to find that the film's crew includes her stepson, as well as an actress set to play her in the film. Everyone in town is suddenly movie crazy, except Roe... and a murderer. When the body count mounts, Roe must reprise her role as amateur sleuth.
