The photos aren't much -- just a Mexican truck, a windmill construction site, exotic animals, and Bernie Manuelito in her new uniform with a silver replica on her blouse of Big Thunder, a Navajo spirit. But seen by Sgt. Chee, her ex-boss, they connect a woman he longs for to a murder with federal connections. This leads Joe Leaphorn to get out his maps.
