The Orange Cat Bistro
Nancy Linde
Claire leaves her husband and takes a small room above the Orange Cat
Bistro in Paris. There she types away at the novel that has begun
unfolding in her mind. She pours all her own pain, doubts and fears into
her main character, Nevada. As Nevada starts to take on a life of her
own, Claire's own world begins to open up. She grows stronger and more
self-assured. The more real Nevada becomes, the more Claire feels herself
changing. She soon realizes that what binds them together is the same
force that has shaped their lives as women -- a dark secret that must be
overcome before either can realize their full potential.
