Shape of Snakes
Minette Walters
In 1978 a black woman dies in a gutter somewhere in West London. She was
known as Mad Annie and despised by her neighbors. But the young woman who
finds her believes -- perhaps against reason -- that Annie was
murdered. In a journey that takes her around the world and some 20 years
to complete, the woman returns to London, acts on her secretly
collected research and begins to piece together what really happened that
night.
