Aeris provides a more secure medium in a wireless computing environment. By connecting to Aeris, you'll know that your information is encrypted. With this change, you will be logging on to the wireless network, just like you do currently with an Ethernet connection.

Aeris supports these operating systems:

  • Windows XP SP2
  • Windows 2000 SP4
  • Mac OS X 10.3 and 10.4

It is necessary to configure your laptop for access to Aeris. You will need an A, B, G. or A/B/G wireless card.

See 802.1x Setup Links on the left for instructions on preparing your laptop to use secure wireless.

No network security option is failsafe. Be sure to continue to follow basic precautions when using the secure wireless network.
