August 26, 2011 - Last day for faculty/staff to give info on changes for the Telephone Directory to the Office of the Provost and VPAA for inclusion in that document.

September 5, 2011 - Labor Day - Offices Closed - Library open regular hours

September 6, 2011 - Sabbatical Leave Applications due to Chair or Director

September 9, 2011 - Caterpillar Fellowship Applications due to Provost & VPAA

September 9, 2011 - Sabbatical leave recommendations due from Chair/Director to College Sabbatical Leave Committee

September 15, 2011 - Letter to Deans from Assistant Provost requesting faculty attending Commencement – due October 14.

September 23, 2011 - Sabbatical leave recommendations due from College Sabbatical Leave Committee to Deans

October 3, 2011 - Sabbatical Leave recommendations due from Deans to University Sabbatical Leave Committee

October 7, 2011 - Call for nominations for Caterpillar Professorships – due to Provost & VPAA January 23

October 14, 2011 - Deans inform Provost & VPAA of number of faculty attending Commencement

November 1, 2011 - Provost & VPAA reminds Deans of dates for notification for non-renewal of probationary and temporary faculty

November 1, 2011 - Forms from Provost & VPAA to Deans to request part-time faculty for second semester - due December 1

November 4, 2011 - Sabbatical leave recommendations due from University Sabbatical Leave Committee to Provost & VPAA

November 22, 2011 - Notification to Provost & VPAA of intent to apply for Caterpillar Professorship

November 29, 2011 - Deans notify Provost & VPAA of non-renewal of contract for faculty (2012-13) with more than one year but less than two years of service

December 1, 2011 - Annual Reports due to Provost & VPAA

December 1, 2011 - Part-time faculty request forms due to Provost & VPAA for second semester

December 1, 2011 - Provost's Council returns 2012-13 budget, faculty and staff evaluations, and requests for unpaid leave to Provost & VPAA

December 2, 2011 - Sabbatical Leave recommendations due to President from Provost & VPAA

December 1, 2011 - Notices to probationary faculty from Provost & VPAA - non-renewal of contract for faculty with one year but less than two years of service

December 9, 2011 - Sabbatical leave letter of approval or denial to applicants from Provost & VPAA

January 10, 2012 - Annual call for applications/nominations for Putnam and Caterpillar, Inc. Faculty Achievement Awards - due to Provost & VPAA April 11

January 23, 2012 - Call for submissions for the Helen Bartlett Award for Excellence in Service to Students due to Provost & VPAA May 2

January 23, 2012 - Caterpillar Professorship materials due to Provost & VPAA

January 27, 2012 - Deans notify Provost & VPAA of non-renewal of contracts for faculty with less than one year of service

February 10, 2012 - Letters to Deans from Assistant Provost requesting number of faculty attending Commencement - due March 9

March 1, 2012 - Salary, promotion and tenure letters received by faculty, administrative and professional staff from President, Provost & VPAA, VPBA and VP for Advancement – due March 31

March 1, 2012 - Notices received by probationary faculty - non-renewal of contracts for faculty with less than one year of service from Provost & VPAA

March 1, 2012 - Last date to submit materials to any subcommittee of C&R (Curriculum and Regulations)

March 2, 2012 - Provost & VPAA sends requests for Emeritus nominations - due April 2

March 9, 2012 - Deans report number of faculty attending May Commencement due in Provost & VPAA Office

March 31, 2012 - Faculty, Administrative and Professional staff contracts due to President, Provost & VPAA, VPBA, and VP for Advancement

April 2, 2012 - Emeritus nominations due to Provost & VPAA

April 11, 2012 - Putnam and Caterpillar Inc. New Faculty Teaching Award nominations due to Provost & VPAA

April 15, 2012 - Last date to submit materials to C&R (Curriculum and Regulations Committee)

April 30, 2012 - Deans notify Provost of non-renewal of contracts for faculty with two or more years of service (2013-14 contract)

May 2, 2012 - Notices to probationary faculty from Provost & VPAA - non-renewal of 2013-14 contracts for faculty with more than two years of service

May 2, 2012 - Helen Bartlett Award for Excellence in Service to Students due to Provost & VPAA

June 11, 2012 - Provost & VPAA sends forms to Deans for requesting part-time faculty for Fall Semester - due to Provost and VPAA on July 11

July 11, 2012 - Request for part-time faculty for First Semester due to Provost & VPAA from Deans

August 14, 2012 - University Conference (tentative)
