-We introduced the Rotaract Officers and contact info. (Details on Contact page)

-We discussed upcoming projects such as RYLA, Rosewoods, the Boys and Girls club, etc. We also announced that anyone who had ideas for upcoming service events should e-mail them to us!

-We went over important informationt:
  - meetings are EVERY WEDNESDAY at 9PM!
  - every member is required to pay dues $10/semester, and must be paid before member initiation on September 15th
  - member initiation is Wednesday Sept. 15 at 9pm during the meeting
  - We will have a social event (TBA) on Friday Sept. 17th at 6:30 pm
  - We will have a member retreat (tentative) on Sunday Sept. 26th in the afternoon
  - Each meeting you attend you will get ONE raffle ticket. If you volunteer at an event you will get TWO raffle tickets. These can be redeemed at the end of the year party for prizes like gift cards or even an iPod!
