ZARVELL OUTDOOR RECREATION AREA

The Bradley University Sportsmen's Club has been fortunate to have the support of other members of the Bradley community.  Dr. Ray Zarvell, a recent retiree of Bradley University has worked very closely with the Sportsman's Club to allow access on his property.  Access has been allowed for hunting and conservation purposes.  Dr. Zarvell's property is approximately 25 acres in size, and is made up of approximately 8 acres of tillable land and 17 acres of timber.  In 2008, we worked with Dr. Zarvell to plant native prairie grasses and food plots in the tillable area.  The Sportsmen's Club wishes to recognize Dr. Ray Zarvell for his generosity in allowing the club to have exclusive use and access to this piece of property.

The Bradley University Sportsman's Club also wishes to recognize Gary Zarvell.  Gary passed away in a hunting accident on December 28, 2007.  Gary was an avid outdoorsmen, hunter, fisherman and conservationist.  He was a friend of the Bradley Sportsmen's Club and he will forever be missed.
