1. What year are you in school?
|
I am a Sophomore. |
2. What is your major?
|
Mechanical
Engineering. |
3. Where are you from?
|
Right here in good
ol' Peoria, IL |
4. When did you first get involved in SAE?
|
I began attending
meetings my second semester freshman year. I became involved in getting sponsors
for the Second Annual car show and worked at the show. |
5. What hobbies are you interested in?
|
I do pretty much
anything outdoorsy. I am a competitive cyclist, and can't wait to get
back into
the I-74 MTB Series this year. Also, I kayak often in the summer months
and when I need
a break from school and I occasionally go for a trail run. When the
weather turns cold, I
bust out the cross-country skis and snowboard. Also, I love working on
bikes. I have 8 bikes
of my own in my basement, and would love to put some more classic
lugged steel frames in my collection.
|
6. What is your favorite kind of music?
|
I am a fan of
classic rock, new rock, old country, new country, and pretty much
anything on the radio
other than rap and hip-hop and that junk. I still rock the radio
because I am too cheap to buy music. |
7. What is one thing you would like to do before
you die?
|
I want to ride by
bike across the country fully loaded (aka carrying all my stuff). No
motel nights here...well...maybe only one or two. |
8. Who is your favorite professor?
|
Dr. Hooper is the
best professor I have had at Bradley. He has truly taught physics to me
better than I think
any professor can teach anything to anyone. I would definitely
recommemd him to anyone. Dr. Timm is
a really good professor too. He is phenomenal with calculus. |
9. What is your favorite food?
|
I love pizza and
pineapples. Separate, they are good. Together, they are great! |
10. What is your dream car?
|
My dream car(truck)
is 1999 to 2003 Ford F-250 or F-350 Turbo Diesel with a 7.3L Powerstroke and a 6 speed
manual tranmission. Regular cab, crank windows, manual locks,
and an 8 food bed. No bells and whistles here, just a good,
reliable truck I can count on.
I also love loading
my current car up for a good vacation in the northwoods!!
