Picture if you can, a college fraternity composed only of under graduates in isolated chapters, each thrown on its own resources, helpless to aid the others, with no one on whom to depend for mature counsel, each making and repeating year after year the same mistakes of inexperience for the want of means of continuity and supervision.

It is superfluous to recite the debt we owe to the Beta Pi graduates. They have guided the fraternity from its earliest days along the road which has brought Phi Gamma Delta to its present eminence.
