The Environmental Protection Agency’s education grant program is detailed at this site.  The program supports environmental education projects that enhance the public’s environmental knowledge, awareness, skills, and more.

The Toyota USA Foundation is a charitable endowment that supports innovative K-12 projects, placing special emphasis on science and mathematics projects.  The foundation annually awards grants to teachers and schools.  This past year, the foundation has awarded more than $1.3 million to five K-12 science and mathematics education programs.

Special Opportunities

NASA Explorer Schools Mentors (NES) program provides opportunities for teachers in grades 5-8 to participate in cutting-edge education programs at Goddard space Flight Center.  This is a three-year relationship between NASA and the teachers selected to integrate NASA science and mathematics content into their curriculum through problem-solving activities.
