Environmental Science

This is a 50-minute "electronic" field trip through Haden Valley in Yellowstone National Park, looking at its natural history, vegetation, and wildlife.  The trip is designed for middle school students, and takes the perspective of an intergalactic explorer coming to visit.  The site includes scripted dialog, animations, streaming video and audio content, and lesson plans.
